Gifts Based Ministry: How Can God Use Me!1 Corinthians 12 and Ephesians 4:11-13 tells us that each of us is gifted and that we are called to do His work. We are not allowed to leave our gifts idle: instead, we are to use them to serve God and others. In that we have all been anointed with gifts, we are all called to use them to minister to others. In order to make use of your spiritual gifts, you first have to know what they are. The best way to find out is by taking the Network Class. In it, you will learn about your passion, personal style, and of course your spiritual gifts. There are six classes required to successfully compete the training. But don’t worry – the class will be informative and fun. And there won’t be a test! So come sign up and join us on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. September 12 – October 17 and identify the gift God has given you to minister in the body of Christ through the Network Class. Sign up sheet in the Atrium or call Patsy Walter or the church to enroll. i-KidsWe are very excited about our new Children's Ministry "i-Kids". This will be a program that kicks off on Wednesday, September 8 from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m.. We will be teaching children about Missionaries from around the World , Bible Studies and Verse's, Crafts, Recreation and Snacks. Children will visit each area on a rotation schedule. Help is needed!!! If you have a passion to tell children stories from the Bible, love crafts, playing games with kids, making snacks, or just want to share God's love and get to know our children, then we need you! Help is needed in all areas, from being a lead teacher to escorting the children from room to room. Please contact Sheree.

Military Bulletin Board
Click on the "Team Ministries" link on the left side of the page to find a list of people from our family and friends that are serving in the Armed Forces and need our prayers (under Prayer Ministry).
Continue to keep all of our military in your prayers. It would mean so much for them to receive cards from home.
Check the Military Bulletin Board often. There have been several changes recently - some additions, as well as rank and address changes. If your Sunday School Class or group would like to communicate with these men and women serving our country, we can provide you with a list of addresses and keep it updated. Just call the church office. Also, be sure to let the church office know of any change in addresses so that we can continue to support them. Thank you so much for the support everyone has shown to our young people serving in the military.
